This ultra rare 412 is decorated in practice paint. Le Mans had the cars qualify a month before the event and this is how the car looked while qualifying. It will surely be a collectors car at only 412 pieces made! Wearing the traditional racing colors of the United States, NART's white with blue #25 330 P3/ 412P, chassis #0844, the first of the original P3's built, was entered for Pedro Rodriguez and Giancarlo Baghetti, both seasoned Ferrari racers. In fact, #0844 was the red #26 that placed third in the earlier Ferrari Daytona 1-2-3 sweep! Unlike Ford, qualifying for pole at Le Mans was not a priority for Ferrari. The well-driven #25 330P3/412 P qualified 8th, immediately behind a factory P4, During the race the NART car performed well but unfortunately just after the 11th hour mark, the NART #25 fell victim to wrong sized piston rings, mistakenly installed in the factory rebuilds, resulting in excessive oil consumption which ultimitely ended the race for the team. Now you can own this unique 412 P and add some contrast to your Ferrari collection! This is the 1st release of the all new 412 P in the masterpiece collection so hurry and order your copy today! Features Include: - Serialized plate - Diecast metal body - removable front and rear covers - Poseable steering - Functional suspension - Opening fuel filler doors - Plumbed and wired engine - Moveable shifter - sliding side windows - Fabric seatbelts - includes engine cover support - collectible plaque
